Following the Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2018, a new partnership developed between Outerknown and Taylor Home and Fashions Ltd. to reduce water use and pollution of production while enhancing quality and aesthetics.

By incorporating the fully industrialized GiDelave™ organic cotton yarn in the co-branded line of sweaters for the upcoming fall collection, significant environmental benefits are obtained. Being unique in its coloration process, GiDelave™ yarns and fabrics provide water and energy savings, zero wastewater discharge, and reductions in chemicals and CO2 emissions. More specifically, the product features a 98% water reduction compared to traditional cellulosic dye methods and produces a product that appears washed down without the need for additional washes. Hence, bringing a new standard of sustainability to the coloration of textiles and product finishing.
